The Audi A5 Coupe is one of the most elegant new cars you can buy, throw in the “RS” package, as in the RS5, it turns into a beast that also has a gentler side. But if you’re not satisfied with the elegant or “gentlemanly” looks of the car, look no further than OSS Design’s new tuning package for the German coupe.
The OSS Design tuned Audi RS5 looks more like the bad ass guy that girls have a one night stand with, than the stock “take home to see mom” guy. The company says they designed the car to look like “an angry stromtrooper”. It does have the stormtrooper look…well, because it’s white and mean looking.
The front of the car looks extremely pissed off (I wouldn’t want to see this car in my rearview mirror) with its large air intakes in the bumper and the red LED daytime running lights (which can change colors). Other upgrades include wider rear fenders with large air intakes, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a ducktail spoiler that works with the factory retractable spoiler. The car rides on 20” x 10.5” Vossen VVSCC5 wheels, which seem to fill the wheel wells quite nicely.
OSS Design didn’t tinker with the engine in the RS5, which is a pretty powerful package in stock form. As a refresher, the 2013 Audi RS5 coupes and cabriolets are powered by 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engines, producing 444 horsepower and 318 foot-pounds of torque, sent to all four wheels via 7-speed transmissions. The stock RS5 coupe does the 0 – 62 mph sprint in 4.5 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Via: OSS Design
The factory limit on mine is 174 mph and 0-60 by road and track is 3.8 sec white vivid racing tune and spin tech exhaust carbon fiber intakes I’ve go 11.8 in the quarter mile.
